Lets start with the down.....DIOK 1 suffered their first defeat of the season away to 't Gooi 32-10. Which means they slip from first to fourth, although equal on points with second and third. Lots of points to work on this week at training before the visit of Utrecht at the weekend.

The positive side is that after being more or less forced to play on 3 October DIOK 2 managed to fight to victory away at Sparta 0-10. They could have scored more points but then so could the hosts so it was a fair result. Respect to the team who put the festivities to one side on Saturday night to be ready for the game. Next up is a home game against the league leaders, the Hookers.

The other positive was the good turn out for DIOKtober as far as I remember a good time was had by all!!
